One adorable baby after another proudly tells of his or her "grown-up" accomplishments in this bright photographic board book that follows those first all-important steps toward independence.
My daughter is only 9 months old. About a month ago we bought this book for her, thinking she'd like it when she got a little bit older. She already has quite a collection of board books. She fell in love with this one the first time we read it to her, and it is already so chewed up and pulled apart that I'm ordering a few more copies. The cover has a picture of little girl waving, and my daughter invariably waves to the book when she first picks it up.
A Simple Favorite

A sure hit with any toddler who is learning, "I'm not a baby anymore," which is the last line of the book. Each of my daughters loved this book, I think because it celebrates all the things they are learning & doing, and for the photographs of children - which they always seem to like.
Finally, a book with real people!

My son (12 mos) loves to look at the toddlers and their accomplishments in this book. It's nice to see a book that doesn't advertise a character or product or tv show! I'm sure this will be a favorite for a while because it deals with potty training, sharing, helping, etc. Some of the pictures look like they were taken in the 70's, but my son doesn't mind.
