I'm Not Tired

These are excellent books and a particularly hard to find resource for very young children, challenged and at risk children, and for first readers. Simply and truthfully they show the emotional issues common for toddler/preschoolers, with gentle resolutions. The illustrations are softly realistic and the stories teach important social skills without any preaching. My beginning readers, up to 8 years old, found these appealing and motivating to read. I am seriously disappointed to have them out of print, as I work with other educators I wish I could recommend them to.
