Be careful what you wish for

This cautionary tale, written as a modern-day Siddhartha, is a spellbinding story of longing and belonging. Never able to find the place where she belonged, Elizabeth takes us along for a page-turning ride across the barren desert of self-indulgence. Determined to find herself somehow, the writer lets us eavesdrop on situations we ourselves have all fantasized about- what it would be like to pick up that great looking person at a party and just "go with it"... As it turns out, not all that glitters is gold. You will not be able to put this book down. It is masterfully written and painfully honest-- the read will stay with you long after you have finished... Buy this book!

More Than Just a Sexy Book

I truly enjoyed reading "I'm No Saint!" The racy title and promise of a "sexy read" made me initially pick up this book, but ultimately the painful honesty of the author's life experiences was what I truly enjoyed. I found myself rooting for the author (who I found likable despite her faults) to get her act together and find happiness. The incredible wit was an added delight! I highly recommend.

Intriguing, touching rollercoaster of love and leaving

It's weird. I feel like I've known Elizabeth all my life after reading this book. When I get to meet her in person I don't know whether to shake her hand or give her a hug worthy of a friend I haven't seen in years. Elizabeth has definitely written a book that is so real and intriguing and I think that the feelings I just mentioned are proof of that.

Sentenced to Marriage - Honest, Brilliant Brave and Liberating

Elizabeth Hayt sentenced to a life of marriage had the courage to resist society's imposed boundries and forge her own path. She refused to take short cuts. She generously shares her experience with the rest of us. AN ABSOLUTE MUST READ FOR EVERY WOMAN SOLD OFF TO A LIFE OF CONVENTIONAL MARRIAGE BEFORE SHE HAD A CHANCE TO MAKE HER OWN CHOICES. Elizabeth's path of self discovery is funny, painful and illuminating. She is an inspiration for us all. No half assed wasted life of mediocrity for Elizabeth! Sexy, funny, gutsy and seriously hot! About to reread it for the second time. I can't wait for the sequel.

LIFTOFF

Elizabeth Hayt may not be a saint, but she IS a divinely talented writer--one who takes us on a glamorous, gritty race-walk through her stylishly checkered life. Hayt has a tale to tell and she tells it exceedingly well, in forthright, unadorned prose that pairs frivolity with fortitude. If, at certain plot points, readers find themselves jaw agape, they will also find themselves nodding with recognition--a recognition of what it means to push through, soldier forward and, with glad determination, invent--and then reinvent--one's personal best.
