I'm in the Zoo, Too!

I've shared this book with my kindergarten students for about 8 years and each year I look forward to it. The art is stunning and the storyline always begins lively discussions about the zoo. Why do we have them? What would it really be like to be in one? What would happen if the animals could all come and go as they please? Also, the children become involved in the relationship between the squirrel and his family. It is a delightful book and it will be a favorite for many years to come.
