Awww I feel bad, I wanted to like this more but it didn’t really blow my wig off, you know? I felt this was just your standard high fantasy kind of story, which 10 year old me would have eaten up. 32 year old me however feels a bit meh. Which is weird because I feel like I rated The Last Unicorn 5 stars? No matter, this one just didn’t land for me personally but my partner is currently reading it and loving it!
