World-renowned cartoonist Johnny Hart and best-selling author Jerry Newcombe team up to show you how to kick the procrastination habit once and for all. (Even if you don't need help, you probably know someone who does. Get this book for them! They'll never get around to it.)

OK, I'm not a procrastinator, so why did I read this book? Because I'm afraid that I'm becoming one! So I thought I would take a dose of preventative medecine and heal myself of the tendency of putting things off (usually the most important things). There are three smashing things about this book.First, the authors, with all their humor (and there is a lot of it), take their subject very seriously. One of the authors calls himself a "recovering procrastinator" and you can tell he has experienced the downside of this affliction (and I'm sure the other author, his wife, has borne a lot of the consequences!). Most of us joke about procrastination, but this book will help you realize when it's a joke and when it isn't.Second, the advice offered is straightforward and practical: a step-by-step guide for those who really want to overcome the temptation to delay doing the things they know must be done. In addition, the advice is not just down-to-earch, it is wise, especially when it comes to the things in life that really count. Finally, the comic strips, from B.C., are side-splitters. They're done by the cartoonist Johnny Hart, who also does The Wizard of Id.While this may seem paradoxical advice to give to all you procrastinators out there, let me still give it: don't dither -- by this book now!
