Book Overview

The New York Times bestseller from the beloved actress and Hollywood icon who's made us laugh on shows from The Mary Tyler Moore Show to Golden Girls to Saturday Night Live ! In this candid take on everything from the unglamorous reality behind red-carpet affairs to her beauty regimen ("I have no idea what color my hair is, and I never intend to find out"), Betty White shares her observations about life, celebrity, and love (for humans and animals). Filled with photos, If You Ask Me is funny, sweet, and straight to the point--just like Betty.

Soothing

This book is everything you would expect from Ms. Betty White. Fun, witty, and emotion. This was only the 2nd audio-book I have ever listened to. Her voice was so soothing as she read, reminded me of my grandma. She expressed happiness and emotion as she read. Many would say this book contains basic content. I found it to be perfect, it wasn't the "look at me, look at me" of today's celebs.

Classic Betty

I read this book within a few hours of waiting online at a book store to meet her years ago. Definitely a book I couldn't stop reading! Betty White was such a funny person and had a great personality. Loved reading about her life and will reread this book again in the future!
