I had to rewrite a line

I considered returning this, but the inconvenience and expense of mailing it back plus the overall quality of the book kept me from doing so. I object to the use of the phrase "eat you alive" on the page where a lion takes over a carpool. I crossed out the line and wrote in "Count the passengers: 1,2,3,4,5". My grandson is not yet three, and I thought that "eat you alive" would be disturbing.

Our 19 month old daughter LOVES this book! There are many great messages for kids including using your "please" and "thank you's" and how brushing your teeth and bathtime are a part of everyone's day (including the skunk and the monkey!). I would highly recommend this book for children of any age!
