Excellent for reading to a soon-to-be big brother/sister

My mom gave my first-born this book before I had my second baby. I was nervous about the title, since you dread having your child show signs of regression when a new baby enters your family. However, this book is wonderful!! It does a great job pointing out how unhappy a child would be if they truly did become the baby again, and how great all the things are that an older child can do. My son loved it - and the way the text rhymes is a hit.

the very best sibling rivalry book I've ever seen

A long-time favorite in our family, and my tried-and-true second-child-shower present. My kids have all loved it and read it over and over and over.

I love this book!

My mom bought it for me when she was pregnant with my brother, so I was prepared for any surprise. :-)
