Missing pages

This book was missing 4 pages. Very disappointing.

Love the book however their assessment of damages seems to be a bit forgiving

The reason it gets 3 stars is because it’s an I spy book but the condition of this used book was definitely not “good” full pages were torn out and the remaining pages had significant tearing through the words, and many pages were wrinkled/folded and majorly creased. The company needs to rework their rating scale and possibly retrain the people deciding the condition because this book was definitely not in good condition.

I spy a missing page.

I don’t mind the little writing of the previous owners name, but I do mind that there is a page torn out.. was really looking forward to showing my son how fun this series was to me as a child.

Oh no! This book had something spilled on it

Our copy appeared to have perfume spilled on it. It's not tolerable to read because of it.

Completely ruined copy.

Entire book was marked up with highlighter circling every single item to find. My husband was so excited to get one of these I Spy books to go through with our kids and he was really unhappy to discover the entire book was a waste of money. Nothing to spy here.

Great Quality, Kids Love Them

This series of books are GRAND! Kids of all ages to 99 can enjoy them. It is fun to search out the hidden items and some of very well hidden! Have never seen a kid not enjoy one of these books. Very nice hardback books with nice large thick shiny paper pages. GOOD QUALITY BOOK!

Family Fun

I spy books are absolutely fun for the whole family. Exercising your brain with your kids means a lot for you and them. My son is 4 and although he cannot find all of the objects he finds a lot of them. What I like about the books is the photography and how they made different views from the same place. Look for yourself. I also like the fact that you can put them up and get them out after time and start all over. I recommend them highly and plan on buying all of them over time.

These are wonderful books for all ages

I didn't pay much attention to the "I Spy" books until I bought one for my niece. I thought it was strictly a children's book, and I only bothered looking at it to make sure it contained nothing objectionable. Ten minutes later, *I* was hooked! So now I have several for my 3-year-old niece and several that I'm "holding" for her."Treasure Hunt" is my favorite "I Spy" because the pictures relate to each other and when followed tell a story. "Spooky Night" also does this. The rest just seem to contain pictures that follow the theme given in the title but don't relate to each other. The challenger books don't have original pictures; they use the pictures from the themed books and give them new, supposedly harder, riddles. In my opinion, the earlier books are the easiest and the later books are quite a bit harder (and maybe more suitable for older "children").I personally prefer the themed books to the challengers and the later books to the earlier, but I heartily recommend any, or even all, of the "I Spy" books.

I love these books!!!

I am a mother of three children and we own each " I spy " book and eagerly wait for a new arrival. My children are now, 10, 8, and 5. These books are truly our favorite and they are not just for the young. Each picture makes them think, explore, and problem solve all on their own in a very different way. Each night at story time they all pick a book mom reads and then a book they read, then we always end up doing an entire I Spy book together. We spend this great quality time together as a family group. Now that I write this review from far away at a conference with grown adults, overly stressed. I went back to my suitcase for the I Spy Treasure Hunt book, which is my favorite of them all. This has broken the ice and released the stress and I cannot get my book back!!! Thank you Walter Wick and Jean Marzollo for the many many hours of enjoyment you have allowed my family to experience!

I Spy Treasure Hunt

We own six of the I Spy books and love them. My children are not young, 19, 17, and 10 and yet we all love searching and doing the extra riddles in the back. We particularly love how all of the pages are interelated in this book. But where is the ruler on the shipwreck page? We are still looking! A great fun book for everyone.
