Ispy

Was rated good condition, but a page was missing and 2 pages are ripped.

Missing entire pages and cover badly damaged

This was not "acceptable" condition like listed. There were several pages entirely missing (aside form a torn corner left in to show where they should be) and the cover was completely taped over, very sloppily, so it just looked like garbage. So frustrated that it can't be returned because it was absolutely not as listed. Not high price, so not major but annoying nonetheless.

Disappointed.

my kid loves this series, when I got this book it has markings on it like the kid circled the things to look for. I don't mind the name written on the front page but encircling the items draw the line. It defeated the purpose of finding things.

No idea- book without pages

Book arrived with two pages in it. The rest had been ripped out. Apparently this passes for "acceptable". I have no way to return it, so have to take the loss.

a charming book for 1st & 2nd graders

This book is another great book in the I Spy series and provides hours of enjoyment for beginning readers and, with a bit of help, even those who can't read yet. Our school children love these books and check them out of the library often.

A lot of fun!

My ten year old son introduced me to this fun little book (OK, it's big, but thin.), which he has been looking at for several years now. It has fourteen, two-page sized pictures of a collection of odds and ends connected with school. At the bottom of each of them is a list of things that you can look for (sort of like, Where is Waldo). But, read through to the end, there is a riddle about someone you'll find in each of the pictures. This is a fun book. It challenges the young reader to concentrate on what is actually on the page, and pick out certain select items. I like that my son reads it for fun, even as the book is teaching him to concentrate and search systematically. He loves this book, and so do I. We both highly recommend this book to you.

Excellent for toddlers too!

Our daughter has loved all of the I Spy books since about 20 months of age. (Before that we only gave her the board book versions). She "reads" them even more than our 4 year old who loves them too. Little ones this age enjoy sitting with an adult identifying familiar objects while learning new ones. She gets so excited trying to find all of a paticular multiple object on one page. I would give the I Spy books ten stars if I could!A+++++++ books!

Great for all ages

I agree with the "reader" who says not to believe the age range the publishers have put on these books (4 to 8). My 10 year old loves these books at least as much as my 6 year old does, and so do I! They're incredibly imaginative, and make you look at pictures in a whole new way.

Excellent

Don't let those publishers tell you the age range. I teach fifth grade and my students LOVE these books. They are always checked out of our library and of the public library. What fun!
