I Saw You...: Comics Inspired by Real-Life Missed Connections Everyone at some time or another has looked at the personal ads. This book has a variety of artists and their version of what goes through peoples' minds. There is a little bit of bathroom humor, but who doesn't like that if no one else is looking. Fun easy read.

Missed connections ads are often cryptic, with lots of information missing, waiting to be filled in, like a good comic script. Julia Wertz, genius that she is, realized this and conceived an anthology made of of comics based on the text from Missed Connections ads. The result is even better than you'd have thought.

If you even remotely enjoy browsing through personal ads in the paper or scrolling through the endless seas of missed connections pages on facebook, what could possibly be better than reading comics about real-life experiences with missed connections ads? Some are hilarious, while others are heartfelt tributes to the search for companionship and love. Comics are increasingly becoming lauded for their appeal to adults lately, and I Saw You can certainly hold the attention of a more mature audience.
