Fascinating, but faithful, cinematic life of Jesus.

Wow -- what a surprise. A friend recommended this book. While it is totally faithful to the 4 gospels, it reads like a fast-paced novel. This is the version they ought to use for the next movie on the life of Christ. The encounter between a starving Jeus and satan during the temptation in the desert sequence is particularly chilling. High ly recommended, for Christian and non-Christian alike who wants a fresh take on an old, old story.
Startlingly fresh re-telling of life of Christ.

"I, Jesus" combines the accounts of Jesus in the four gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke and John) into one coherent account and tells the story of Jesus in the first person. The result is something akin to a movie. For the first time, I knew where Jesus was at any given date during His three and a half years on earth. The mission trips were coherent and logical. And the opposition formidible -- for the first time, I could see it slowly, inexorably building each year of His life. This is dramatic stuff. Good dialogue too -- even though most of Jesus' is taken directly from the Scripture. Someone should make a movie of this!
I Say That "St. Jesus" Is A Better Title.

Jesus would have made a better saint, too. So Bob Darden is wrong and the Christian doctrine is founded on a heresy,a lie.Jesus was a saint married to St.Clare and he died a natural death in India, having traced Thomas the Apostle's footsteps to India.I believe in this.
