I was expecting the more historical edition of the journal. Instead I received what appears to be a children's book with the authors interpretation of journal excerpts.

Not for children. This it's not the book I thought I was ordering. It has nude pictures of Indians in it. I would not have purchased it had I known that. I would return it if I could.

This is a really great book to get children interested in history. Mr. Roop makes the voyage of Columbus very interesting and very easy to read for kids. For introducing history to kids, I would really get this book.
