The Magnificent Lives of Marjorie Post

I finished the book, hoping it would get better, but from the first page, it was not to my taste. I just cannot relate to a wealthy, unlikeable character. She bragged a lot. There was a TON of name dropping.

Both my sister and I read this book at the same time (even though we live 2,000 miles apart) and each of us LOVED this book! This book will surprise you and delight you in knowing that this is a REAL person and these things (despite being "officially" fiction) really happened! Had no idea that Marjorie Post changed the lives of almost all Americans! Talk about an unsung hero! She may be well knows for her wealth, but I had NO IDEA that she was brilliant - before women were "allowed" to be brilliant! Could not put this book down!!! I always buy hard covered books and pass them along/donate them, but this book, I am KEEPING for me so that I can re-read it again, later and LOVE it, again! Looking for more books to read about this AMAZING woman!
