A must have for people in hurricane prone areas

Bryan Norcross did a teriffic job with this paperback book its about 250 pages of easy reading. He writes about things like: what a hurricane is, Past storms of the years, modern storms, FAQ's. He then talks about life in a hurricane zone. He tells you things like where to park your car, where to be in your house during the storm, to evacuate or not to?, what to have on hand during the storm, what to do when winds approach certain levels. He then talks about storm surges, insurance claims, etc. He gives a summary of what a Hurricane is, and how he feels about things like Hurricane Categories 1-5, and 5 day hurricane tracks!! The book is overall a must to have for those in dangers harm, it includes several check lists of things to do, before, during and after the storm. I give this book a 4 out of 5 star scale, its GREAT!

Great Useful Information

This book gives great advice on how to hurricane proof your home as well as preparing for a storm. Norcross writes in easy to understand language and gets right to the point. My husband is enjoying the book so much, it is hard for him to put it down. Bryan Norcross is as good in print as he is on television, especially when storm reporting.
