HaHa does not understand why Bea is hugging a blanket until they share its cozy delights. Bea and HaHa (an adorable hippo and a small ferret) are the best of friends, but they don't always get along. Perhaps it is because they are so different from each other: excitable, verbal HaHa is always trying to make sense of solid, confident Bea, who says very little. These two charming stories, featuring bright, graphic art, are centered on fundamental objects and experiences of early childhood: cuddling a security blanket and sharing a bagel.
I like the graphics, the story line but my 2 year old does not. Perhaps my 8 month old will like it. It is a great book and I will buy others in this line.
Truly the "First" Book
Published by Thriftbooks.com User , 17 years ago
The entire set of four books by Emily Jenkins & Tomek Bogaki are ideal first books for your infant. Their simple, repetitive wording is aimed at the ears of tiny ones, and their concepts are straight from the heart. We all want these comforts, and most of all in the first year or two of life. These books wholesomely affirm the natural goodness of receiving them. Every baby I've read them to has loved them.
