I just graduated from college with an elementary education degree. I read -Howie Finds A Hug- and was found the entire Howie series charming and am enthusiastic about adding it to my classroom library for young readers.
Since I really like hugs, this is my favorite of the Howie books!

Another fun Howie book with a great message! Everyone needs a hug - especially Howie. This book is a great reminder to give your family and friends a hug every day. Love the illustrations and story. Even my girlfriend's one year old loved this book!

Wow. Great family dynamics. Howie gets lost in the shuffle of family life. But in the end EVERYONE shows him he is loved with a big family hug! This one seems to be a favorite. I hear this a lot: Grama, read the one where Howie wants a hug! This book tugs at your heart! We all just want to be loved. Fun for kids, very insightful for grown-ups! PS: There is a real Howie!
