These tapes will mesmerize you. Rusher's vast and nimble intellect is never more impressive than in this work. I have found myself listening to sections several times, each time to feel the impulsion of his reasoning, the hear those carefully crafted sentences once more. There simply are not many Rusher's in the world anymore, and I should think much for the worse. Here he is learned and fair, his wit keen as his memory, his recollections of his rhetorical battles always engaging. This is a must-read for anyone interested in wielding language with purpose. Tory Hanson's voice is perfect.
