Recommended for Women of Any Age!!

If you are looking for a book about how to improve your inner beauty (as in personality, relationship stuff). I definitely recommend this. I was looking for a book about how to improve me to improve my relationship. I found what I was looking for. For me personally, chapter 64 really opened my eyes. It's not that I didn't know this information before but, seeing it in print helped me realize my actions. I have to comment on how accurate the work-related chapters really hit on the money! I recommend it for women of all ages in the workforce. However, it does apply how women are outside of work also. So, if you're a stay at home mom, like me, even though you don't work, you still associate with these women. I really enjoyed reading this book. I admit most of it is common sense knowledge. However, sometimes we need to be reminded of common sense things. This book includes: Table of Contents (of course) and at the back an Index by Subject(Life, Men and Love, Sex, Style, Work). Which is really good for easy re-reading!! A must-have for your bookself! And, if you get a little tired, finish that chapter for that moment, do something else, pick it up later and continue on! It gets better!!

More Than Just Sex Tips

While I understand the marketing thinking behind calling this book HOW TO SET HIS THIGHS ON FIRE, truthfully the book would have been better named How to Set Your World on Fire. Sure, there are the requisite sex tips (and I'm not even too embarrassed to admit that I learned a thing or two in this category), but what I really liked about this book were the sections dealing with life and career. Two chapters that really resonated for me were TOSS OUT YOUR FIVE YEAR PLAN and HOW TO COME UP WITH A KILLER IDEA. Great sex advice as well as career tips, what more could a girl ask for? There truly are a number of thought-provoking pearls of wisdom in this book beyond the naughtiness we've come to expect of Cosmo. More importantly, the book is fun and easy to read. And while you may learn a few things about setting his thighs on fire, don't be surprised if you learn other life lessons along the way.

All Worked Up and Reading This Book for the Third Time....

My sexy guy bought me a copy of Kate White's newest book, "How to Set His Thighs on Fire." Gulp! Was he giving me a hint? I took a deep breath, feeling perplexed and more than a bit worried.... With a glint in his eye, he flipped the pages to tip #3: OWN YOUR HOTNESS, then told me that my confidence in and out of bed is what he finds most compelling about me, and that tip #7, about adding INSTANT MAGIC TO A ROOM, had been, for me, a no-brainer for years. Okay, okay, I thought, this seems to be going positively, maybe my main man has something else on his mind. Perhaps he's happy enough between the sheets with me, but curious to try a kinky, lovemaking trick. Did Ms. White have one? I grabbed the book from his clutch and zeroed in on tip #23: HOW TO HOOK A MAN FOREVER. Yep, that clever technique sounded good.... And tip #27: THINK WITH YOUR PANTIES. Sure, I could master that maneuver too.... And tip #62: THE MOST NEGLECTED MOAN ZONE ON A MAN'S BODY. Hey, this is fun -- and very, um, educational! Was he panting yet? By the time we got to tip #86: HOW TO BE GREAT IN BED, we were in bed. Not sleeping, by the way. And I realized that my bookstore genius had given us both a gift -- for although this book's title implies that it's all about giving him pleasure, in truth it's really all about you, as a woman, and how to make yourself happier...not only in bed but also in life, pointing you toward making smart choices about your career, friendships, self-esteem and more. The next morning, I picked up the book from the floor, where it was buried under a tangle of bed linens that we had flung around. I put the eye-opening "How to Set His Thighs on Fire" on my bookshelf, alongside Kate White's other winning books -- her spine-tingling Bailey Weggins murder mystery series and her brilliant career-and-life-goal bibles: "Why Good Girls Don't Get Ahead...But Gutsy Girls Do" and "9 Secrets of Women Who Get Everything They Want." Later that day, as loverboy held my hand at our favorite seaside restaurant, I peered into his big brown eyes and asked: "Why that book? What made you get that one?" Now he looked perplexed. "Your shelf is full of books by Kate White," he replied. "You must like her stuff a lot. Thought I couldn't go wrong...." Thank you, Ms. White. You made things go very right.

Perfect Summer Read

I loved this book! It is filled with insightful and sometimes funny advice on everything from career to sex, I could not put it down although it is arranged in way that makes it easy to pick up whenever you have a chance. It is the perfect summer beach read, but watch out, all of your friends will be trying to get their hands on your copy!

So much more than great sex!

Of course I was lured to Ms White's new book by the title....who doesn't want to make her man hot for her?...but I found so much more than that. Great advice on issues we women face everyday at home, at work and in the bedroom, delivered in a best friend breezy style that has made White's other books such fun to read. This one is arranged by subject and you can jump back and forth, from chapter to chapter, but be warned: it's like eating salted peanuts; hard to stop! There is some familiar stuff here, too, but the kind of things that need the reinforcement, like why guys don't like to talk about their feelings and the dumb things women do to make men groan. From her position as editor of Cosmo, Ms White definitely has her fingers on the pulse of what's relevant to young American women and this is like a field manual for their lives! A must read for anyone who wants to make the most of their love/sex/career experience, even for guys who would do well to learn this stuff themselves.
