I truly enjoyed it from start to finish. Loved how realistic and relatable the characters were. Had me laughing out loud and creeped out all at the same time. Would recommend! Such a fun read.

Grady Hendrix has a gift for taking concepts that sound hilarious (and are pretty funny--until they aren't) and making them legitimately scary. This book does that, while also being a compelling exploration of grief, family ties, and the dangers of leaving things unsaid. This book was an emotional journey and hard to put down.

This book had my attention from the beginning and I just wanted to skip work and life to sit and read and finish it. First, a very cool touch - the chapters are set out in the stages of grief which the main characters are going through with the loss of their parents. (Grady Hendrix books always have this cool little touches that just make them so special!) The story opens up, blooms and reveals family secrets in a well weaves...

This is a Magical Realism/Fantasy Horror Thriller. This book was so good. I do not read a ton of Horror, but I love Grady Hendrix books which is why I picked this book up.
