How to Rebuild Small-Block Ford Engines

This was an excellent step by step book and it was a critical part of my engine build. I couldn't have completed my project w/o this book.I highly recommend this book for anyone doing anything from a rebuild to a Hi-Po Motor.

This book is a great book, period... It's served me very well more than once and clearly had all the information that I needed to help build several motors, including one for my son's Mustang. Same thing with the " How to rebuild your Ford V8 351 C-351M-400-429-460 ".. I've built several 351 Cleveland's and both were very good rebuilds. The author does a great job of explaining exactly what you need to do; you must be able and willing to do the rest and you will succeed.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who is contemplating rebuilding an sbf. The combination of detailed instructions with thought-provoking advice will go a long way in helping to create a successful rebuild.

I built a 351W from a long block kit with the help of this book. And the engine ran the first time!The book points out many of the little parts that you need but which are not advertised in catalogs or magazines. Some parts guys at the local Ford dealership did not even know what some of the parts were. But you need them, all the same.
