Just Beautiful

Lurlene McDaniel never ceases to capture the art of love and life in her books. These three stories are my favorites of all Lurlene McDaniel's books. They are very meaningful and share all that life gives, what with how wonderful it is. Not everything can be well received, though, but what you make of it could make a difference. If this book doesn't make you cry, I don't know what would.

First, but definatly not last

This book was the book that opened me up to Lurlene's work. I happened to be at my local library one afternoon this summer and picked it up, due to it's name, because I love romance novels. I started reading it that afternoon and found it impossible to put it down. I have to agree with one other person who made a reveiw and say that the first story, Night Vision, was also my favorite. The story it's self was so romantic and touching, and the ending so sad that I think it's impossible not to bring a tear to everyone who reads it's eye. After I read this book, I went to the library and found as much books by Lurlene McDaniel as I could and only a week later I'd read all the books the library had to offer by her. I think that she has a great way of writing and I love how most all her books, including this one, end sadly. Sad endings proves how strong the love that these people shared really was, and in my eyes, that makes the whole book worth while.

Re: Tight book

This book was very good. In the first one,a seventeen year old boy named Brett, who just moved to Massachusetts from Florida, falls in love with a girl named Shayla, who has a skin disorder. They are deeply in love when tragedy strikes Shayla. In the second story,Dana falls in love with her boyfriend's brother, who has terminal brain cancer. She must choose between the two,who she dearly loves. The third book is about a girl named Laura, who is in need of a heart transplant, and while in the hospital for an infection, she meets an aid named Ramon, and they fall in love (This is a love story, like you couldnt tell!),and she gets her heart transplant, but the tragedy is is whos heart was it that saved her life

Moving stories of change

Three stories under one cover blend McDaniel's proven track record for presenting stories of teens struggling with illness with an added touch of romance. A girl with a genetic disorder which keeps her in the dark falls in love with Brett, who is determined to make her life better. Dana must choose between two brothers - one she loves, and one who loves her, but who has a short predicted lifespan. Laura's weak heart always brings her in touch with death but death passes her and strikes another close to her, and she must adjust. All are moving stories of change.

Good Book

This book suprised me. I did not think that it would be this good. I have all of McDaniel's books, and this is very good. Bobby's Girl is my favorite, it made me cry. Laura's Heart was probably the weakest novel, but still, incrediably compassionate. I think this was a very well composed book.
