Book Overview

The bestselling, award-winning team of Yolen and Teague present another original dinosaur board book, a fun guide to friendship and playing nicely with others.

What if a dinosaur's friends come to play?

Does he mope, does he pout if he can't get his way?

Does he hide all his dump trucks, refusing to share?

Does he throw his friends' coloring books up in the air?

Time and time...

Como Juegan Los Dinosaurios Con Sus Amigos

My son absolutely enjoys having this story read to him. He has memorized it and now quotes lines when he plays with others.

What a surprise find!

I purchased this book to "round out" an order I was placing and, after receiving it, am so glad I did. The book is written in such a way that young children can understand it's message, plus the pictures are vibrant and really catch a youngster's attention. I gave this book to my 2 and 4 year old grandsons and it has become one of their favorites. I now plan to order more from the series and pass them on to the rest of the grandchildren.

A HUGE hit!

My 2 year old loves books and when I asked the children's librarian for some suggestions for my dinosaur lover she suggeted all of Jane Yolen's dinosaur books. My son adores this one. I like it since it has a wonderful message about sharing with friends and we are working on that skill. We read it over and over and I am now going to have to purchase it to keep at home. The board book is a great size since we can take it in the car or in the diaper bag.

GREAT BOOK!!

These Dinosaur books are great for both boys and girls. I brought this book (and two other Jane Yolen Dinosaur books) into my sons pre-school class and they all begged me to read more...These books are great and they teach lessons in a very funny way.

A Good Time for Parents and Kids

I like this series of books (although I didn't enjoy "How Do Dinosaurs Learn Their Colors" as much because it didn't hold to the pattern as well) because it first demonstates the bad behavior, such as "Does he hog all the swings and the sandbox and slides?" Then it moves on to the desired behavior "He treats everyone in the friendliest way." It uses very cute illustrations and language to tell the story. It's short enough to hold the attention of the smallest child, yet the illustrations are detailed enough to interest older toddlers. Plus, it's a fun read for parents as well. I recommend this book.
