Again, another super read by Maureen Lee. A long time ago someone told me to always remember the author of a book I loved as I would probably love others by the same author. They were right and I'm glad I followed their advice. Maureen's writings have a way of pulling you right into the story and feeling you actually know the characters...for me thats a first class storyteller!

the house by princes park is a remarkable and exciting book about the life Ruby O'hagen; a girl who learns what it is like to grow up too fast. it is set in the 2nd world war and is a brilliant and gripping story about love, passion and heartbreak.it shows what life was like for individuals and how ccomunities helped each other when neccisary. I give it 5 stars and would reccomend it to anyone who enjoyes getting stuck into something.
