This illustrated book is deeply moving. It will fill all those with enthusiasm who sympathize with the president-elect. Hope and dreams belong to the keywords of the new president. This biography illustrates how dreams can come true und how to live with hope so that it inspires people worldwide.

Amazing photos and a good brief overview of this rising leader. Worth it for the pictures alone!! 6 stars.

This is MUST reading for all Americans and will give the reader a thorough understanding of the Barack Obama the media is trying to convince us we know nothing about. He lays himself bare -- his life, his beliefs, his thoughts, his ambitions and his plans for a better America for all of its citizens. I doubt anyone with an open mind will come away from this book unconvinced that he is more than ready to be the President we need in 2008.

It is more of an outline than a fully fleshed out view of Senator Obama, but very well written. The photos are fantastic, also. I would suggest delving deeper after reading this by purchasing the 'Audacity of Hope', which really shows the depths of this man's knowledge on not only political but social complexities that have shaped his life and helped mold him into one of the most amazing candidates of a generation.
