A Beautiful Book for Children and Children-at Heart
Published by Thriftbooks.com User , 24 years ago
With every page starting: Hope is . . . this book gives a beautiful look at life. when i read it i am reminded to slow down and appreciate and see the hope in the little things, like rainbows, hot soup and ringing phones. a simple, child-like wonder of the world is so easy to lose as an adult. the illustrations are precious and the words will stay with you. simple and devine. i wish someone would reprint it, it is a shame its not avaiable. i also grew up reading this book and i still read it when i am feeling down or frustrated with life. it is soothing, for the two year old, or the 20 year old. if you have this book, or you see it anywhere, hang on to it, it is a treasure.
It is a beautiful book of love, life, and hope!

I have had this book in my collection for the last two decades. I grew up reading it everyday. The pictures are brilliant and the sentiments are beautiful. I will never tire of it and - hopefully - neither will the children I hope to have one day. It is a very positive and inspirational book for all ages.
Beautifully illustrated tour of hope inspiring 1 liners.

I found this out of print book in a breakfast diner recently and was shocked by it's powerful words and drawings of children, small animals and nature scenes depicting various representations of hope. It is a pleasure to read for kids of all ages.
