The Home Apothecary: Growing and Using Traditional Remedies

In an everchanging world where medicine so rapidly leaves the shelves with danger, I purchased this book with the intentions of learning more about apothecary and the art of home healing. Upon receipt of this book, I was impressed most by the introductions to herbs and growing them, the precise and easy instructions with photographs which made my own garden a breeze to create. Each recipe and its uses are clearly laid out but as with all "treatments" one should use common sense before relying on such completely without consulting your doctor or pharmacist. I enjoyed many of the ideas in this book and have recommended it to many family members and friends.

The photographs are absolutely stunning and the recipes very easy to follow. If you can't whip up some homemade anything while using this book then I would suggest you gave up on Apothecary as a hobby.
