LOVED this book. Ideas and tips and pictures help you to create looks that look good on you. If you like looking through gossip magazines at the fashions, you will like this book. A fast read, very entertaining and interesting.

This is a darling little book that has a lot inside the covers. Jaye Hersh, newly minted Target designer, is a Hollywood stylist who also operates a Los Angeles boutique called "Intuition". She shares her insights and thoughts on the art of dressing and presenting oneself. Her most illuminating maxims include, "life is not a dress rehearsal, so you should not be wearing dress rehearsal clothes.", "You must feel as if the world is your movie and you are the star of your life story". I wholeheartedly agree! In addition, the unique aspect of this book is while it is not a psychology tome, it does address issues of self-esteem and self-worth. Reasons for shopping are also discussed (sound familiar, ladies?). And while the book never has a chiding tone, it does remind us to have mindfulness related to budgets or quick-fix shopping trips. OK- now the fun stuff. Ms. Hersh has created an entertaining cadre of six "fashion types" that you will recognize and relate to. From sexy Sirenista to Ingenue, Bohemian Princess or Rock-n-Roller, you will enjoy taking the included quizzes to determine your dominant type with tips to enhance your approach. Charming illustrations depict approaches to dressing for "Starcups Runs" to "Playground Run"- with your kids!. Accessories and unique approaches to creating an individual look are covered thoroughly. I also appreciate the matter-of-fact approach to self-image and dressing when you are not at your ideal weight. Ms. Hersh wants us to (most importantly) feel fabulous and look fabulous whether we are movie stars or not. A real inspiration!
