Murder in Aachen

This book doesn't look so much at the overall Werewolf Movement, the 11th hour Nazi effort to create a guerrilla movement, as it does a specific action by Werewolves: the assassination of the Allied-appointed mayor of Aachen. There is some background about the Werewolf movement but it does not cover a lot of the confusion and political in-fighting involved. However, it does provide a good introduction to the subject matter (there are better books but most are out of print). As to the narrative of the assassination it reads like a gripping novel, which in itself is not a bad thing. It certainly keeps the reader interested. I recommend this book for anyone who would like to get better familiar with this aspect of WWII history.

Major Find, Surpisingly Suspenseful and Readable

Hitlers Werewolves starts out with the key moment of suspense then goes back in time and folds in wonderful WW2 historical facts building back up to the opening moment The author has found pertinent and extremely interesting quotes that lend credence to the facts while also adding another layer of entertainment to the novel. Very readable and very enjoyable. One would think a movie should be made about the last Nazi Gasp of Air trying to disrupt the momentum of the Allies while creating some of the first "Terrorist" tactics using women, boys and military men.....and they were called Werewolves - ACTUALLY PARTIALLY RESPONSIBLE FOR STOPPING THE ALLIES FROM GOING TO BERLIN, LETTING RUSSIA TAKE IT AND LAY CLAIM TO EVENTUAL EAST BLOC TERRITORIES.
