It really doesnt matter how old this book is, it offers THE best money saving ideas i have come across so far. anything from selling your blood in spain to hitching a ride on a cargo ship.. and of course tips on how to pick up a ride... its very much part of the culture in europe... you just have to get pointed inthe right direction. i saved thousands of dollars/pounds/kroner because of this book. HAve fun!

Cant review content cos hazy memory. This was my only reading material on a 3 month "hippy trail"(London to India)in 1979... It seemed so good. Got to get a reminissing copy soon.

This book really made my feet itch. Can't wait to be on the road, on my way to anywhere. Great laughs, too. Not so detailed as some other guidebooks, but definitely with the best attitude.
