His Perfect Submissive

This was a very well-written story, though slightly hurried in places where the emotions seemed to move a bit fast. A fascinating view of the gentler side of the Dom/sub culture. (Plus hot sex!)

If you are into hardcore BDSM don't read it, and restrain your self from criticizing. There are people out there, who are not into what you like and we all have the right to like different things. Not all "Kink" has to be vulgar and involve the very things that turn people away from even trying it. Bondage and domination do not HAVE TO entail sadistic and/or masochistic behavior. Bondage/Domination and Sadism/Masochism do not have to go hand in hand and are very different. People have the right to choose and explore, whichever parts are well suited for "Their" particular relationship. I found this book to be very enticing, and for people who are intrigued by a "Loving" dominant/submissive relationship, or even having just occasional fun with this adventurous genre, this book is Perfect :) It teaches you the good qualities of being a submissive, about feelings and fears a slave/submissive may go through and how a caring, trustworthy, lovable master can help her learn and conquer them ALL. It teaches you that with the right approach, and patience, you can both learn as well as Earn mutual Trust to do anything together :) I really do not care what the s & m fans have to say about my comment. Opinions are like a**wholes... everybody has one, and I am getting tired of people forcing Theirs on others. Say what you have to say and accept that others may, and have the right to, like different things, we are not all the same and we all have different relationships... I respect your right to like to be whipped till you cry out in pain, or whip someone till you draw blood, it's your business, your turn on, so stop telling me something is bad if it's not the way YOU think it's supposed to be. Some people only like to be blindfolded to enhance what they feel, some like to be tied up and just made love to, because that is what turns them on. I am tired of the hardcore bdsm lovers coming down on everyone who isn't like them. Lay off. Do what gives you pleasure, and let others do what satisfies Their needs. It's because of some hardcore BSDM lovers that many people have the wrong impression of KINK in general. Most of your harsh rude comments turn them off or even gross them out. Let me state emphatically that I enjoyed this book and that if readers are seeking the mucho guy brutale in this D/S story, then this hero, Slade, is not the one. Slade is in fact seeking "his perfect submissive" but despairs of ever finding her. Many women are after his money, pretending to be what he desires, yet others are too dominant or aggressive for him. He finds his ideal woman in the one he's been trying to avoid, Kara. Kara is anxious to meet with Slade who happens to be her brother's boss, in an attempt to extricate her brother from an embezzlement scandal where he misappropriated company funds. Slade is loath to meet her, but one look at her as he arrives at his office, nervously waiting all softness and innocence drives the arrow right through his heart. He instantly recognises the woman he has been looking for, the woman capable of satisfying his raging desires. Not being one to miss an opportunity, as his enterprising success demonstrates, he offers her marriage in exchange of her brother's debts. He explains that he is a dominant who wishes to engage in all that this sexual lifestyle entails with her. Kara agrees as she is vastly attracted to this man and has no other means of paying him the money unless she works for years and pays him in instalments. This, however, would mean depriving her ailing mother of the medical care which is vital for sustaining her in life. Slade senses a strong reticence in Kara which is not due to her lack of sexual experience alone. His tender and caring attitude help Kara gain enough confidence to confide that she had been raped as a child and expects the D/S sex to be brutal. He then proceeds to show her in the most endearing way what it is that turns him on, exposing her to her sensual nature and the delights of sexual intimacy. It is a tender well written story, and this comes from someone who is not keen on weak heroines. Ms Aaron has created a shy, gentle woman whose sexual abuse caused her to withdraw from men and who learns to blossom like a lovely flower in the hands of the right man (Aaah! Sweet.) It's a wonderful love story, the type I like to read, with love and heart and sex.

His Perfect Submissive is a good novel, in and of itself, because there's an actual story there, that of a woman who must marry a man she doesn't love in order to pay debts. What I liked about it was the fact that the erotica was enticinig without being too over the top and that the bdsm was integrated well into the story, which is important to me. Overall, this is a good bet for those that want a story to go along with the erotica. It's a good bet. Another good bet: Whatever He Wants

The story of His Perfect Submissive progresses as one might hope, yet carries the reader beyond expectations into very moving emotional depths. I became more and more absorbed as I read. One aspect concerned me when I ordered the book--the premise of Kara's willingness to become Slade's wife and submissive because of a crime her brother committed. But I was quickly put at ease because the author, Alyssa Aaron, is a convincing writer. After all, love and commitment are powerful forces. Like Kara, most people will go to extreme lengths for the sake of family, especially when there's money involved. Also, it's not uncommon to find ourselves healing from deep psychological wounds through the love shared in a relationship. Facing risks and building trust are as crucial in His Perfect Submissive as in our lives. That fate clearly brought Kara and Slade together at the most opportune moment in each of their lives strengthens the whole experience of this story. Don't our most special relationships often happen at just the right time? And like most relationships, Slade's and Kara's marriage adventure includes imperfections, dreams being fulfilled, secrets revealed, and surprises. No spoilers here. Take control and read to the very end or surrender completely to each word. His Perfect Submissive is more than a read--it's an experience.
