In spite of his feelings, Darius agrees to help her but, he demands something in return; the honeymoon they never had. But, Darius' revengeful demand and past heartaches are put on hold when he discovers the secret Liz has been hiding all these years. HIS PERFECT MATCH is a familiar story, but it is told with plausible candor, and with a storyline reminiscent of fine wine. The story is of a love that needed to be aged, so it could evolve into something rich, warm and wonderful. A totally enjoyable story! Ms. Overton never disappoints. Darius and Liz were the perfect match. I could not put this book down. A Must Read!!

Elizabeth Donovan fell in love with Darius North and they got engaged and planned their wedding. The only problem was that Elizabeth was young and grew tired of Darius making all the plans for their wedding without asking her what she wanted. Darren who is Darius younger brother is wild and care free and talks Elizabeth into running off with him for a so called fun adventure the day of the wedding. Both families disowned them both and after realizing that running off with Darren is the worst mistake she has ever made in her life, she discovers that she is pregnant and Darren is killed in a bar fight. She returns home from Las Vegas with a new born baby and her family turns their back on her and offers no help. Her Aunt Dee takes her in and helps her raise her son Marc. Ten years later Marc is diagnosed with diabetes and after taking dialysis he needs a kidney transplant to survive. Her Aunt Dee tells her to contact Darius his biological father that he knows nothing about to help his son. Afer trying to contact him and his constant hang ups she hires a private detective to find him. When she goes to meet with him and tells him the reason why she is there, he assumes that Marc is his nephew and not his child and seeks revenge. When he discovers on his own that Marc is his son he still has revenge on his mind but agrees to the surgery. When he finds out the truth about as to why she ran away from him and how both families turned their backs on her and their only grandchild, he puts them on notice and vows to take care of his son and Elizabeth since he never stopped loving her. Great story and I could not put it down until I finished it.
