High and Outside

This book is about a young woman on the verge of adulthood dealing with the pressures of adolesance. Although she is an alcoholic she does well at school until her drinking overtakes her and she is forced to deal with the problems that forced her to drink. I found that this book delt fairly and accuratly with her interactions with her peers and her parents. her drinking is not sensationalized but is delt with fairly and honestly. I would recomend this book to all young teens.
