Interesting and insightful in ways

It was a good read. It was empowering in a sense, the narrator's overall message is do not settle for less treatment than you deserve. It also hints at the fact as you know when this person isn't the right one. Some parts I thought were outdated but it is a helpful book all in all worth the time

Classy & Educational Book!

The book is great! I love it! It's full of good, considerate, TOUGH LOVE. It told me what I needed to hear. Greg gives advice from a caring friend standpoint. Its the truth women are too afraid to admit or acknowledge, who doesn't need that?! :)

Deceptively Simple

This book is simple, fun and a quick read, (No dumb advice about using "I" instead of "You" sentences, no self-righteous quotes from guys about what turned them off in women, no playacting advised or required to trick a guy into loving you, etc.), but it might be the best, most refreshing relationship book ever written. Basically, it says that if a guy seems reluctant to call, date, etc, or is married, is "afraid" to commit, makes you feel stupid or fat, it's not your fault! There is nothing you have to change to "attract" him - it just means he's "not that into you," not right for you, and you should stop wasting time trying to twist the relationship into working and move on to find someone who is right. Simple advice, right? But in the hodge podge of relationship advice and changing sex roles, common sense and self-respect have gotten lost, and this book brings it back. Men are not frail, shy, helpless, confused creatures - if a man wants something, he'll go for it - and if he's not going for it, he doesn't want it. Every lady in the dating world should read this - its a long-needed shot in the arm of a healthy dose of self-respect - the best medicine.

Hilarious/Honest

I just haaad to write SOMETHING about this book. I had been on NUMEROUS dates in the past month-- going from one frog to another. It gets you down after a while. I decided to pick up this book and read it- LOVED IT! Greg is so honest that it's funny how us women actually MISS the red flags that men show us. This book will certainly help you determine the difference between a red flag and a shadow in your relationship....and will give you the confidence that will help you say "SEE YA" to Mr. WRONG! =)

Excellent Advice

I abs. loved this book. I finished it in one day. I think what's so empowering about the message is that as a together woman, we treat ourselves so well in so many areas of our lives. However, for some reason when it comes to men, we are contented to settle for second best in hopes that a person we are into will come around. It is important to realize that you are a beautiful woman with an interesting life. You do not want to take time out of your wonderful life to bother with a man who is not treating you the way you deserve. The bottom line: If you have to constantly deal with infinite excuses then this man is clearly not worth your time and you will forever be unhappy with the way he treats you. I much rather hold out for a man that completely adores me rather than waste my time with a prick that has 101 excuses as to why he can not treat me the way I deserve to be treated. I too will purchase a copy for all my friends:)
