As the stereotypical divorced dad with two daughters I found the book is a handy resource for starting or continuing conversations with your "tweens" about issues (school, friends, fashion, pop culture)familiar to them. Obviously the books value is enhanced if your child (and you!) have seen the Lizzie McGuire show. I'm looking forward to Ms. Sublette's next book.
