SO LOVE this story...the 2nd book to "Her Secret War"...It did not disappoint at all !! To recap the first book..Sara Gillespie loses her family in a bomb attack on Ireland...she recovers and goes to live with an Aunt and uncle in London. Getting in evolved with The British Secret Service... she brings justice to a German Spy that had tryed to get blueprints from the Factory she worked at..where Submarines and The Famous "British Spit Fire Airplanes" were manufactured. Since then She has been given another secret mission by the Secret Service..to team up with an American undercover Agent. Their mission takes them from London to the country of Wales. While they are there... another London agent that's helping her and Anderson (american agent) they find by accident that he's a German Mole..feeding the Germans all the classified information out of London. While her and Anderson try to get a handle on who else is involved..Sarah's long lost..thought to be dead ...loser of a Father resurfaces to complicate things. He's on a mission of his own..helping the Germans ..and in turn.. getting money and guns to send back to Ireland and to support the IRA..and, at the same time make a name for himself !! . Sara has no use for her father and has no problem..that if the situation presents itself..she would take him down and out..whatever it comes to. He was a horrible husband to her sweet beloved mother, often abusing. hitting, taking money to let them go hungry and never at home, staying at the pubs with his men. Not that Sara and her sister cared...when he was home, he was mean to the bone..and they often hid in their room ..not to see or have a confrontation with him. So as Anderson and Sarah work together...it starts off a little shakey..her not caring much for this arrogant American ways...and his snarky remarks ..him thinking shes young, not experienced enough...they go through the story kind of ribbing each other about anything and everything...as time passes, and they call a truce..to shake hands and start to seriously work together..their relationship takes on a whole other dynamic. As they get closer to finding out about their enemy mole..and their affiliates...things happen rather quickly and a Major turn of events ...gives this story , Action, intrigue, justice and love !! Excellent continuation...and I wish..the story of Sarah Gillispie would keep going on !!! I didn't want it to stop !!! GREAT READ !!
