Amanda adored her adopted daughter more than anything in the world, so she was crushed when Jamie's biological mother wanted her back. Jamie was three when her biological mother Paige got custody of her. Now almost three and a half years later Paige's brother shows up at her door step and asks her to marry him. Ross recently found out that his grandfather bribed the judge that gave Paige custody. Ross now raising his niece thought that the best way to keep her was to marry Amanda.
