Realistic guide

This book was more about the "facts" of having a sensitive child and how it affects their social functioning. They gave a lot of "real life" examples of child in certain social settings and how they were able to overcome their vulnerablity. This book also gave more of a hands on approach to helping a child become more socially involved without pushing them into it and making the situation even worse. I felt like this book was more focused on school-aged children (maybe grades 3-12). My son is in pre-k, but it gave me a good idea of what he could be facing in the future if he continues to struggle in social situations.
