This was a gift from my husband and I can't put the book down. The contributing authors put their findings so straight forward, it leaves no doubt as to the optimal conditions for rearing a family in the today's culture. References the teachings of the brethren completely.

I bought this book for my SLF 100 class here at BYU. The class is all about The Family: A Proclamation to the World. I was told that it is the least sold-back book to the bookstore. I love it. It gets me so excited about marriage and having a family. From the chapters in the book and the essays that are included, it motivates me to want to do everything right. I would recommend this book to everyone who wants stronger marriage and family relationships. When I am married I plan to read this book together as a family.
