I love beautiful hardcover books, I've been searching high and low for a good paranormal book with a beautiful cover and I have!

This book, with its great cover with the glowing red eyes, was given to me by a good friend. She knows I love ghost stories, and anything ghost related. There are lots of interesting stories in here, and I devoured this book with enthusiasm. The book covers stories from all over the world. Some of the more local ones are legendary, but the tales from other countries are the ones that I found the most interesting, both for their history and "ghost factor". I would have liked to see more pictures to go with the stories, but other that that, the book was well written and a fun read.

I am interested in ghost stories. This book had a combination of them, each written well.

Always enjoyable fare for those rainy afternoons and evenings. What is also notable about this tome is the sheer quality and imagination that went into the binding and cover. Engraved design with actual red 'gems' for eyes in the sockets of the skull. Splendid

This is a fun and interesting collection of classic paranormal stories,from around the world.(Some i would take,cum grano salis,however.)Mostly,it's of true historical events ,yet of still unexplained native banshees and other strange mysteries.
