Remembering Childhood

My Grandmother used to read these poems to me at bedtime and it was a delight to her her read these wonderful words to me. She read from her own edition from her childhood so now I can see part of what shaped her love of poetry.Edgar A. Guest has a way with words which speak of those things we call American. It is "comfort reading" well worth exploring in these present times.

Will be very glad when I find the reading I'm looking for...

I am looking for a writing by Edgar Guest, "The Sermons That We See". Has anyone seen it? Please contact me at [email protected].

A ENJOYABLE BOOK WITH MEANINGFUL POEMS.

Mr. Guest is my favorite poet of all times. His poems are great. My favorite poem is "Defeat." If you want one of a kind poems I would get this book.
