An absolute lifesaver!

This is the best book I've ever purchased! It is so easy to understand the directions and I love having my meals planned all week long. I go to her website and print off a copy of the shopping list for the week I'm using, adjust it as she instructs in the book and I'm on my way. My grocery bill is down, the time I spend in the grocery store with a toddler is cut in half, and we haven't come across one bad recipe in the five weeks we've done. We omit the chili flakes because we like to keep things mild, but the spices are so wonderful we don't loose any of the flavor when we omit the heat. We have recommended this book to so many people I'm thinking about ordering a stack of them to have on hand!

Clear directions, Good pictures

The book has information on how to feed your family healthfully and quickly. The recipies are easy and have clear instructions. The book is also very readable and not just a boring cookbook.

I bought this book because I was interested in healthy family meals. But what I ended up loving about this book is the money it has saved me in groceries every week. With grocery lists included for each week, there is no waste in my fridge. The weekly plans are flexible enough for our families needs. So easy, little to no thought is needed every week on what to eat. Saves valuable time. Especially at dinner time when kids are crazy!! Another surprise to me was how few dishes get dirty in the preparation. A real bonus. Another real bonus is this is a Canadian author and book. I will be buying this book for everyone I know.

Weekly meal planning simplified! Even the grocery list is done for you! All you need to do is compare the grocery list for the menu items for the week to what you already have in your cupboard and purchase the difference. Each meal has the protein, fat and carb count listed so if you watch that kind of thing--it's already done for you.Instructions really are quick and easy. I have used this book for the last four weeks and have been amazed at how user-friendly it is. The food is delicious -- most meals got a rating of 8 or higher out of 10 by my family (including an 8 year old and an eleven year old!)This book has truly made meal planning, shopping and preparing much simpler.
