A physician looks at a book about other physicians

I found this book to be both interesting and challenging at the same time. Interesting because it offers a solution to the non-integrated "non-system" of health care in the US. Challenging because it held up a mirror to me. It also offers some insights into the physician's part in this system failure. The behavior of doctors as relates to the failing of health care as a system in the US was well demonstrated. The would be a great reader for doctors who are interested in seeing what part they have played in all this. It is in understanding all this that we can develop new solutions for health care that will both do the right thing and will endure.
Good Healthcare Is Possible

I am glad someone has developed a vision of the future of healthcare in America that is positive and realistic at the same time. Mr. Lloyd has used his experience and vision to write a very interesting, readable book. His approach to presenting his ideas makes this book read more like a novel than a thesis. This should be on the reading list of all students (young and old) of the healthcare system.
