Richard Abanes explains different aspects of Easter, for example what Lent is for, how Christians around the world celebrate Easter, and where traditions grew from in history. This description may be from another edition of this product.
This book explains a lot about all the different observances during the lenten season. It is not written from a specific point of view (i.e. Catholic or Protestant) but explains a number of customs and where they originated from. Makes a great devotional for the 40 days of Lent as each entry is short and easy to read.
