I loved this series. A story about messed up people in a confused and dangerous world -but things turn out okay because of love and faith. And its all set in a scifi universe of space age exploration and a political background full of intrigue and machinations, but the story itself is firmly grounded in the experiences of the hero, Stephan Ridenour, a most tortured soul, who would do anything for some love and validation...
