a great resource for finding happy hour in Portland. I especially like the separation of food rankings vs. the drinks. also, a very good layout to help with location and area of town. worth the price for sure. Jack

If you are like me, you don't keep up on the bar scene, but just want to have a good resource for when you do want to get together with friends after work, or on the weekends. And "the perfect happy hour" really depends on the occasion. Sometimes, you want cheap drinks; sometimes you want a great deal on really good food; and sometimes, the most important aspect is an early or late time. This book-with companion web site--does a great job of laying out the key information; what, where, when, how much. It uses maps and descriptions, and has just recently been published, so the content is up to date. If you live in Portland--or will be visiting--this is a great resource.
