Hand Commands: The Ten Commandments for Little Ones

Hand Commands is an easy-to-use tool to teach your children to love God's law. It follows the most traditionally held numbering and the Biblical account from Exodus 20. This darling book can help you to train your little ones to love God and to love to follow Him. It's simply a tool to help you to teach your kids to LOVE GOD and LOVE OTHERS. For years, I've used this method of teaching the Ten Commandments to children of all ages in both schools and churches. The response from both kids and parents to the finger motions (and numbering) has consistently been very positive and encouraging. The Hand Commands are fun to use and easy to remember. I often give this book as a baby shower gift (sometimes combined with cute little mittens or a baby handprint kit). I highly recommend this little book and believe you'll be delighted with it as well.

We really enjoyed this book. Our whole family learned the 10 commandments in order this summer by reading this book at camp for 5 days. The kids from ages 4-12 can still tell you all the commandments and the older two can recite them out of order or while being questioned, "What's the 5th commandment?" We have been able to witness to friends and family by sharing what the kids learned! What a blessing.

This is a wonderful book. Not only did my son learn the Ten Commandments but I did instantly. The hand motions really locked them in. It is simple and easy. This is a great book for you and your child.
