One of J. Lee Butts' Best

In addition to always weavin an interesting tale, Butts is a master of humorous and fascinating dialogue, and GUN WORLD is one of, if not his best example of it. He is the only author who can make you chuckle during a gunfight due to the fact his characters give you the most humorous wordings. Like his other novels--With the exception of HELL TO PAY, which takes the viewpoint of the outlaw--GUN WORK is an example of justice and not necessarily the law winning out. In this day and age of political correctness, Butts' characters wouldn't be popular in the cinematically, but to lovers of the Western, they are more than welcome. I look forward to more adventures from Hayden Tilden and Lucius Dodge.
