Harlequin Presents #1627: Guilty Passion

The hero of this story is definitely a dominating alpha male ... he makes summary judgements, won't listen to reason, etc ... all of the usual unreasonable behavior with predictable life-disrupting results. Not a book for those who like their men sensitive, kind, and understanding! The sex scenes are remarkably steamy for a book written in 1992 (they even have sex in the kitchen up against the refrigerator door) and even though the hero is a bit of pain and probably didn't deserve the heroine's forgiveness, and ultimately her love, the author won me over the by end of the story, so I give it four stars. Description from the book back cover: 'Deep down I know that Benedict is the one for me. If I get hurt, so be it.' Brave words - or simply foolish?
